About this blog: i am fascinated by anything concerning human behavior, specifically on the cultural level. I strongly believe that given any subject you can discover it's information content by carefull analysis, using the scientific method and logic. It's all about asking the right questions. I like to explore subjects and attempt to give an objective analysis, without opinion or emotion.

I do experiment with different styles of writing. In each article you may find the same setup of introduction, questions, analysis and answers. Ofcourse, i am a flawed individual with my own personal and cultural biases.  This blog it as much a way for me to practice my hobby, amateur philosophy, as it is to stimulate thought and discussion. I hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to comment.

About the title: i believe that you can use analysis based on logic and data to provide a foundation for a healthy discussion, or even practical solutions. Only via analysis can you answer the important questions of 'what is it that it is', 'what does it that it does' and 'how did it come to be'. Opinions and emotions are normal and can be useful, as long as they are recognized as such. They can serve as startingpoints for exploration, but never as a result. I like to participate in creating this foundation globally. Since i am from the Netherlands, my bit is called a dutch foundation.

My choice of pseudonym is the fictional character of Dirty Harry. The reason is this movie quote: ''Man's got to know his limitations''. DHC stands for Dirty Harry Callahan.

Dutch-English: most texts are based on material i wrote years earlier, purely for myself. My studies and alot of social contacts were in English, and my native language is Dutch. As a consequence the texts were written either in English or in Dutch. Writing in either language has personal advantages and drawbacks. I will attempt to (re)write all texts in English.

Changelist:
12/2016-01/2017. Added a few new articles. Almost done with the human mechanics bit. Promise to blog about different topic ASAP.
14/06/2016 Added a dutch article. Appologies to my English readers. It concerns a uniquely Dutch issue, closely related to discrimination.
23/05/2016 Redesigned the link lists table. Moved a few articles around.
02/05/2016 Many new articles. Posted communication options above each article. Again, posting reactions does not work for users outside the google network. Can't seem to fix it.
12/11/2015 Page added with links to all articles. All articles now have a link to this page.
14/11/2015 Reactions still don't seem to work. Working on it.
15/11/2015 Reactions work after resetting widgets.
24/02/2016 Seems reactions are broken again. Not all platforms can react. Reset widgets, no idea if it helps.
08/03/2016 Played around with different looks for the blog. Can't seem to make the title space smaller, or auto resize images.
